TNT should be banned. I bought an item in the Netherlands and not seeing anything arrive at my home, I contacted the seller who gave me a tracking number with TNT. When I searched with this number on the TNT site, I learned that the package had been delivered to me on January 11, 2011. Oddly enough, I was at home that day. E-mailed TNT and after 8 days no response. I then called a premium rate number at 0.15 per minute, to find out that my package had been dropped off at a collection point (how was I to know that when no delivery notice was left in my mailbox). Pressing a bit, I finally learned that often the delivery drivers do not do their job properly and never stop by customers, dropping the packages directly at collection points instead. At that moment, it’s the collection point manager who notifies the customer. I was not notified since I'm on the do not disturb list. I then immediately contacted the collection point by phone to learn that my package had been returned to the sender after 10 days.
Re-e-mailed TNT with no response, new e-mail with threats to contact a consumer association and the DCCRF, and finally a response from TNT telling me that my package had been resent to the sender on January 29.
I don't know if I will ever find my purchase again. I will probably have to pay the shipping costs to the seller again to start the TNT experience all over again and see my purchase go back once more. THANK YOU TNT DELIVERY DRIVERS... and to think there are 4 million unemployed people.

I would like to confirm your statements about TNT supposedly being a "24-hour delivery" service (I'm laughing). I ordered an LED screen from the cdiscount website, and on the morning of September 9th, I received an email indicating that my delivery was on the way, so I stayed home and waited. After checking the tracking of my order, I found out that the delivery could not be made due to a missing access code, which was provided at the time of the order. I called TNT's customer service, and the sales representative, very aggressive, informed me that my package would be available at a pickup point without specifying either the day or the time (I'm still waiting for her to call me back). For your information, she had both of my phone numbers, and the guardian's lodge is accessible without a code. I conclude that either the courier made no effort or, which I am most certain of, did not come at all. Cdiscount has lost a customer, and I am left without a package that I paid for.
I ALSO THANK THE TNT DELIVERY PERSONNEL. TNT NEVER AGAIN AND TO BE BANNED.
