The phone had a problem and then we reset it. After the reset, the phone asks for the ID account that was on the phone.         So, according to what you say, you are the new owner of this second-hand phone. After this reset, you can use it, and if you want to pair it for more functionality, you need to connect it to your Gmail account. You can skip this step during the new installation.
