[XP] login issue at startup

Hello everyone!
I am reaching out to you because I have a problem.
Recently, when I start my XP Pro, a window titled "Logon Message" opens up in which it says
"The system could not log on. Make sure the username and domain are correct, then type your password again. Enter the password with case sensitivity" (yes, yes, there is no mistake, it really says case?.?.??)
And if I restart my PC, it sometimes crashes at the logon stage. I reinstalled XP and here I am.
If you have any ideas, don't hesitate!!
(I'm a newbie but I'm working on it!!)
Thanks in advance!

In going to start-run-control userpasswords2 I fiddled a bit and when I clicked "OK" to exit, it showed me a window informing me that if I wished, I could start XP without having to enter a password by choosing a particular user. I chose the administrator account having the first name and I didn’t enter a password and now it works. I don’t know where this problem came from but now I’m really happy!! Thanks to everyone for your help!!

Ok, thank you, everything is arranged.
Now
my mother had installed Sécuritoo and she wanted to install the new version with that of the Livebox.
Unfortunately, I can't uninstall the other one.
I just deleted it, but it crashes on startup.
What should I do? Thank you
for other answers
see you later.

Hello, I have a small problem when opening Windows, it cannot open my profile... possible causes: insufficient security rights or a damaged local profile. So it opens a temporary profile, which resets every time... it's a nightmare!!
I only have one profile, I've already tried reformatting... but it's still the same... is there a savior in the assembly....???? Anyway, thank you in advance!!!!!

Hi,

I just read your message and I would like to know if you found out what the problem was because I had the same thing happen to me last night (same error message and it's opening a temporary session) and I don't know what to do, I don't know anything about computers! I'm relieved because I found my documents so I'm thinking that it must really be a login problem. I would like to know where it might be coming from before creating another account and reinstalling everything.

I look forward to hearing from you, I'll leave you my email address in case you can write to me, that would be cool: nenetta@hotmail.fr

Thanks in advance and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's nothing serious

a désactivé l'écran d'accueil...
Que faire ???
Aidez-moi svp
Merci, salut.

Hi Mibot!

Does this problem occur for all sessions or only some???

Can you access it at all, or not at all?

See you!

You have multiple users? Or just a protected session with a password?

In fact, this is happening to me systematically now; I had to reinstall XP three times today to be able to start the PC again. When checking the user accounts, there is only one that is not password protected. I don’t understand anything at all!! Sniff. So, I'm scared of restarting the computer and it crashing again...

Whoa! It might be an error when you entered your password!

Regarding the crash, could you specify, please?

If I understood correctly, is it for all the sessions? Are they administrator or limited sessions???

You might have looked in safe mode before reinstalling everything...

Good luck and see you later!

There is no password entered, I tried safe mode which worked once, but the second time it crashed. The crash is a blue screen XP with a window indicating Windows is starting up or Windows is in the process of starting up, and it gets stuck there.

The problem will only be resolved by using your XP Pro installation CD:
Choose enter for installation
Choose repair by pressing R
and follow all the instructions that follow and everything will be repaired INCHAALLAH.

Okay! So you can't do anything anymore ... is that it?

Try waiting a little while for it to load.

Oh yes, the only account available is "computer administrator" without a password. As for waiting for the loading, I gave up after 5 minutes... In fact, the window where you need to enter the password under the username appears for a fraction of a second, the PC beeps (like an uncool beep), and the frozen window "xp loading" appears.

ok !
how many sessions are there, administrator or limited and with or without a password?

can you go to a session without a password as soon as you have the window of the different sessions or is it not possible?

(as for me, I'm going to leave you)

good luck and see you!

There is only one "computer administrator" account and one "guest" account that is disabled.

Isn't there a way to cancel all administrators and users? It's a family PC, and we have no need for passwords or different accounts. This would certainly prevent this kind of problems...

By going to Start-Run-control userpasswords2, I see two administrators (not using a password). The first is named "administrator" and the second has the name I gave him during my last formatting. Could it be the presence of two administrators that is causing a conflict?

Hello!

To answer your question, not at all, you can create as many accounts as you want, there’s one that is created when you install Windows XP, and another that it asks you to create during the installation, in this case:
the second one has the name I gave it during my last formatting

But when you turn on your PC normally, only the second one appears, however when you start in safe mode, you should see both.

How are your problems going?
