NFS Hot Pursuit, can you play in split screen?

Hello, as Christmas approaches, I would like to know if it's possible to play "Need for Speed Hot Pursuit" in split screen with 2 players?

    I'm sorry, it's impossible to play Need for Speed Hot Pursuit in split-screen mode.
    However, if you want multiplayer options, there are:
    - multiplayer
    - linked console mode

    P.S.: If you want a split-screen game before buying it, check the back of the
    box XD

      yes but only in multiplayer mode!

      You can play with 2 players, in single player, you can set it to 2 player race :) (Gamecube)
