Hello everyone!
Here is my problem: I cannot set the refresh rate of my screen.
Let me explain: when I set my frequency to 85Hz (for example)
my screen stays stuck at 60Hz (thanks for my eyes!!).
In short: the software shows 85Hz while the OSD of my screen shows 60Hz (59, actually).
My screen is a Compaq MV 720. I have tried several drivers for my screen, without success. My graphics card is also up to date (Radeon 9200 PRO).

NB: I can change the resolution without any problem, but no matter what the resolution, it is impossible to set a correct frequency, the screen is always "stuck at 60Hz.

The problem occurs when I unplug my screen from my graphics card and then plug it back in.

Sometimes, 85Hz comes back "by itself", without any particular action on my part.
But it's still annoying, this 60Hz.

I rebooted in safe mode, tried various actions (changing the resolution, etc.).

In short, HELP ME PLEASE!!!!
Configuration: Elite k7s5a pro ATI 9200 PRO AMD 2400+ 2x512 Mo RAM samsung 2x40 Go HDD IBM Win XP Pro SP2 NEC 3500-A Pionner 116-D Sound Blaster 5.1 live

It's all good: it's resolved.
Actually, I reconnected my other PC to the screen, set the refresh rate to 85 Hz.
Then I reconnected my usual PC and there, miracle, my screen now switches to 85 Hz without any issues.
It seems like the screen was stuck on the configuration of my other PC....
Anyway, it feels good for my little eyes!!!!!!

Thanks to everyone.
