Hello everyone,
So, I have a silly question that seems obvious, but I'm hesitant to take the risk...
I was cleaning my computer earlier, and I came across the document "Media Cache Files" located in "Adobe>After Effect CS4".
I looked and saw that it contained all sorts of files I had imported before...
It’s over 5 gigabytes, a fairly large document. In your opinion, can I delete it without AE crashing, bugging, or stopping working?
Thanks in advance for your responses.

The cache folder is only used to keep all your files you’re working on in one place, to avoid having to look for a file in one spot, another over there, etc.
You can safely delete its contents. And if it contains files from a project you're currently working on, as long as you have these files somewhere else there’s no problem, it will put them back into your cache folder without issue.
