ARP cache flush

Hello
I am using Windows 2000 Server as the server and Windows XP as the client. For some time now, except on the server, I can no longer connect to other PCs on the network, and when I run the Network Connections repair tool on my client PC, the computer shows: the following steps of the repair failed: ARP cache purge? How can I fix this and how else can I flush the ARP cache?
