Mafia 2 Installation Problems

aslan94 -
Hello,

A friend recently bought Mafia 2, and as mentioned on Steam, you can play without the installation DVD; he lent it to me. However, I can't install it because it says the code is invalid. What can I do?

Thanks in advance

Configuration: Windows Vista / Firefox 3.6.10

    Hello,

It's because steam uses a sort of ranking that's a bit like this:

    One code = one account

A code cannot belong to multiple accounts

    I hope I helped you ;)
Better to laugh than, uh......than nothing else ^^

My brothers, I have already installed Mafia 2. When I finished, I found it on Steam. When I click on play game, I see a small image of Mafia 2 and then it disappears, and I can't play.

Please, my brothers, if you can help me, don't wait and write me an explanatory comment on this site or on my Facebook account Morad Maroc.

      Thank you.

Bonjour, j'aimerais savoir si on peut jouer à Mafia sans le disque ! Je n'arrive pas à l'installer, merci :)

    Yeah, thanks.
But it’s still annoying. With Steam you can’t lend your games, it’s ridiculous...

It's to prevent account hacking, they have no choice.

Hello, the thing is I bought it second-hand and the guy who had it before didn't uninstall Steam, so it's bothering me a bit because I can't. :s

Contact the guy who sold it to you, there must be a way to sort it out. :)

Well, it's not very complicated; otherwise, you take your PC, it gives you the codes, and you let it install instead of paying €50.
