Bonjour,
slt tt le monde

j'ai installé et configuré tomcat5.5 mais toujours j'ai un bleme
La connexion a échoué

Firefox ne peut établir de connexion avec le serveur à l'adresse localhost:8180.

Bien que le site semble valide, le navigateur n'a pas pu établir de connexion.

    oui je sais ou se trouve proxy . mais firwell nn ? comment je peux le desactivé pour acceder a n'importe quel site sous debian

    # /etc/init.d/tomcat5.5 start
    invalid CATALINA_BASE specified failed!

    nn je conné pas ou sont les logs de tomcat

    oui je suis qui install tomcat et aussi jdk6 mais j'ai le bleme de mon premier msg et a cause de ce probleme j'ai changé un peu sur catalina et java_home just j'ai suivi des procedure sur des sites :s

    tomcat c au /var/lib/tomcat5.5

    Quelle distribution Linux utilises-tu ?

    Ton tomcat ne semble pas lancé !!

    Le port 8081 n'est pas listé dans la commande netstat et on ne voit pas apparaitre de processus tomcat dans la commande ps

    Tu ne réponds pas à l'ensemble de mes questions...

    Ton tomcat ne semble pas lancé, peux-tu le lancer ?
    Et si tu utilises un proxy, vérifie qu'il est désactivé pour les accès localhost.

    dsl mé comment je peux le lancé c'est par la commande /etc/init.d/tomcat5.5 restart ?

    et comment je peux desactivé proxy sous debian

    Le proxy se configure sur ton client, c'est à dire, sous Firefox.

    /etc/init.d/tomcat5.5 start (ou restart, mais start est un bon début) puis ensuite, tu vas lire les logs pour vérifier que tout se passe bien.

    Sais-tu où son les logs de tomcat ?

    Tu dis avoir installé tomcat et tu ne sais pas où se trouve les fichier de log ?
    Tu es sur que c'est toi qui a installé le tomcat ?
    tu as suivi la procédure ?

    car là, il manque toutes les variables d'environnement...

    et quand on te dit failed ça veut dire que ça marche pas...

    donc quand tu dis dans ton premier message que tu as configuré tomcat, je me demande comment tu t'y es pris...

    alors, dans quel dossier as-tu installé tomcat ?
    as-tu installé java ?
