Hello,
I have an ACER Aspire 8930G laptop. Its startup is very slow (over 2 minutes) and I've noticed that many programs launch at startup, especially Acer software.
If someone owns one, could they tell me which software I can safely remove from my laptop? I'm hesitant to do it without guidance. Additionally, if you know a way to obtain a list, I could provide it to you.
Thank you!
Configuration: Acer 8930G Laptop, Windows 7, Firefox 3.6

Hello
In the msconfig startup menu, you don't delete anything, you simply uncheck it and prevent Windows from launching the program at startup; you can always check it again later.
But Windows does not delete the program. You still have access to it through your programs, icons, shortcuts, etc.
Perform a disk cleanup through Accessories and System Tools; check everything for cleaning.
Delete your restore points.
Perform a defragmentation.
Check the free space left on your hard drive.
