I can't find the video file to delete it! Where is it located??

I have the same problem on my side "please insert the original CD-ROM" > my CD is a bit scratched but usually it worked :/ the solution would be to use a no-CD crack, but does it exist?

I don't understand how to find the video folders (intro) to delete them afterwards.
Where are they? I go to the work folder COSSACKS (I;) then there are the folders: Adobe
Game spy arcade
Goa
something Autorun
something C setup

etc....... and where are those damn intros if that's at least where I need to look? Help please!

Good evening, the cossaks doesn't work for me either, there is first a black screen and then it goes back to the desktop. I installed the patch and deleted the video file but nothing works.
Config: video memory 8mb, RAM 1GB, Hard Drive 160GB, 1.73MHz, Pentium 4 dual core on a laptop.

I have a problem too with this black screen
I have two computers that both have the required configuration
and Windows LSD 3.5
I managed to get Cossack to work on one computer by deleting the videos
but on the other one that I just formatted, no!
I reinstalled WinRAR, DirectX 9, deleted the videos, and looked on forums but found nothing
the screen goes black then it returns to the desktop
I also tried to run it in compatibility mode with Windows 95 but nothing works

1. When you installed the game, it probably created a group (folder) in the 'Start->All Programs' menu bearing the name of the game (or something like that). Try to go there and see if you can read the 'read me' or 'to read' (or something like that). Generally, game designers talk about the problems users may encounter and the solutions in this kind of document.

2. Try to check your machine’s 'swap file'... Let me try to remember how to do that.
I can't see it... sorry.
But in principle, you should choose the option that allows the machine to manage the swap file. By default, there's a default value.

Well, I think you might be missing a driver for your graphics card

Me too, I have the same problem with Cossack 2 Napoleonic Wars. When I start it, there is a black window and it goes back to the desktop.
