Hello, how do you reset the Nintendogs game to factory settings on the DS?

When your game starts and you see 'Nintendo' in red on the top screen and 'All Rights, including the copyrights...' in gold on the touch screen, press A+B+X+Y+L+R simultaneously. But after the data is DEFINITELY lost.
