Toggle uppercase to lowercase Solved/Closed

Question

Good evening, I would like to know if it is possible to convert text to lowercase from uppercase in Word or Excel without having to retype everything.  Thank you.

Hello,

for Word: the keyboard shortcut Shift+F3 changes the case (if the word is in lowercase, the 1st press capitalizes the first letter, the 2nd press makes the whole word uppercase). It also works on a selection.

For Excel, there are the UPPER and LOWER functions.

Found: Version 2003: Menu bar: Tools --> "Customize"  --> button: "Keyboard"  --> Category: "format" (or "all commands")  --> Command: "change case" At this stage, it should be written in the small window at the bottom "Shift+F3". If it is not, it is normal that it does not work for you. You then need to create the shortcut in the small window to the right and confirm.  Word 2007 Version Office button: Word Options --> customize  --> at the bottom of the window keyboard shortcut button "customize"  --> Category "Command not in the ribbon" (or "all commands")  --> Commands "change case" Similarly, at this stage the keyboard shortcut "Shift+F3" should appear. Otherwise, add it.  The terms are in English, but I hope this can help you.

No problem on Word, press the left arrow key on your keyboard while simultaneously pressing F3.
