The difference between KB and MB...?!

Solved/Closed

Hello,

I don't know which is the right forum to submit my question, so I'm trying here...

I have two backups of files that I would like to recover, one is: 9.67 KB and the other: 270 MB

Which one is more important?!

Thank you for any responses :)

PS: I searched online for the difference between the two, I didn't understand anything! ;)

Configuration: Windows Vista / Firefox 3.6.3

1 MB = 1024 KB... so the biggest one is the 270 MB one..

You must not have looked for long... ;)

    Hello,

(Ko) one kilobyte = 1024 bytes
(Mo) one megabyte = 1024 kilobytes
(Go) one gigabyte = 1024 megabytes
(To) one terabyte = 1024 gigabytes

Thank you Michaelscott and Apatik for your response, and it's true I didn't look for long, it gives me headaches trying to understand all these conversions, I hate it!

    Have a nice day :)

If someone can mark it as resolved, thank you!
