Hello,
I would like to know how I can hide not just my friends list since I've found out how to do that, but how to hide my mutual friends list on Facebook. Let me explain: If someone wants to add me or has my address/page, they can see the mutual friends and confirm it's really me, which I don't want.
Thank you in advance :-)
Configuration: Windows Vista / Firefox 3.5.7

In truth, the list of "mutual friends" doesn't really depend on you. You're not the one in control of the situation. What you can hide is just your friends list; the rest doesn't depend solely on you!
For example, I'm friends with Patricia (my girlfriend) and Cécile (my ex).
I hide my friends list because I'm good with computers.
But Cécile is not at all skilled (that's why I dumped her), and she keeps her friends list open.
Patricia accidentally visits Cécile's profile and ta-da! SURPRISE!
Patricia finds that I am a mutual friend with Cécile. (Even though I hide my friends list, unfortunately Cécile has her entire friends list open, so Facebook cross-references Patricia's friends list with Cécile's and generates the "mutual friends" list between them, which includes "me" among others...).
In the end, Patricia dumps me too because I lied to her by saying that it was over between Cécile and me and that I had no contact with her anymore).
(PS: Nothing in this story is true, I'm single and I've never had a girlfriend  , I'm 24 years old by the way!)
