I just bought a second-hand Uniwell DX-895 without the administrator code for the settings.
How can I find the code?

Hello Byulka,
you need the key engraved with "S", turn it to "SP" (max to the left) and then enter the code:
25451855 and ENTER.
SP-135 to change your logo.
Then go to SP-113 => 86 and ENTER; go to line G and hit ENTER to switch it to NO if it's not already.
If you have any questions, I've set an alert on this post.
For your remote screen for the kitchen, to my knowledge, it's possible but not simple on UNIWELL; I've only seen it run on an experimental basis.
Uniwell UK has developed PC software that allows you to display everything that's written on the DX screen on the PC; you can display it in the kitchen this way, otherwise, it doesn't exist to my knowledge. The problem is that if the preparation of sandwich 2 is delayed, its display will be automatically erased by the subsequent sandwiches, and thus we are dependent on the preparation speed at the register => we cannot launch a new order before the completion of previous preparations or we risk losing preparation information.
However, we generally put a printer in front for the customers and one in the kitchen to issue a numbered preparation ticket like the customer ticket with the list of ingredients; it's more efficient than a simple remote screen, and the preparation ticket can follow the tray intended for the customer until preparation is complete.
The only effective remote screens in the kitchen are linked to sophisticated software and computerized registers; a good example of a system is the one implemented at GROSBILL, where an unserved customer remains displayed for hours if necessary without penalizing the others.
Best regards
Mister COOL

Hello
The only solution for this cash register, if the previous owner is unreachable
http://www.uniwell.com/unihtml/contact/index.php
It's very hard to catch a black cat in a dark room
Especially when it's not there...!!!!

Hi,
I am a technician installer for Uniwell cash registers, including the DX895.
There are no administrator codes on them; you just need the key engraved with "S" and specific knowledge to program it.
Be careful, this has nothing to do with IT; it's proprietary programming. Get the PLM2000 software and read the online help to train yourself (in English).
http://www.uniwell.com/unihtml/products/appsoft/plm2000.php
Good luck ;)
MisterCool
P.S. I will check here occasionally if you have questions.
If you are ready to pay specialists for reprogramming, I will give you the names of the two main importers in France who will provide you with quotes to redo everything as you wish; otherwise, do some research online with Uniwell in France, and you will find them.

Good evening MisterCool, first of all, thank you for your valuable help. I bought a Uniwell DX895 register, it worked very well with my seller (I can contact him), he provided me with all the documentation, but since it has been unplugged for more than 2 months, upon first plugging it in, it asks for an update that I don't know how to perform.
How could my seller be helpful?
I'm in a bit of a bind and I kindly ask for your advice
thank you very much

Hello everyone,
I'm reaching out to you because I have 2 DX 895 Uniwell and I have a technical question. I would like to change the company name displayed on the receipt. Could you please let me know how I should proceed?
P.S. I have another question, but it likely leads to much more significant solutions. I have a fast food restaurant, and I would like the cooks in the back to be able to see the orders taken at the register in real time on a screen. Do you have any ideas on how to proceed?
I just realized that the email address I use for my CCM account is no longer valid. Please send a response to the address Address removed CCM Moderation please.
Sorry, I forgot that I shouldn't communicate an MSN address; please reply here and I will check the site.
Thank you.

Hello,
Key S all the way to the left on SP, code 25451855 then ENTER.
Then you'll have access to all the programming functions.
SP 122 to program the products,
SP 112 to adjust the memory values.
etc...
Good luck

Hello Mister Cool,
I have a dx 890 but without a key, so it starts off badly... I took apart the lock and removed the key system, which allows me to change the positions with a screwdriver. The problem is that I don't have an access code; I tried the one for the dx 895 but it doesn't work. If you have a solution, I would be delighted!! Thank you in advance
Philippe

Thank you very much MisterCool,
I just saw the message because I hadn't received any alerts yet. Thank you, I will test what you told me regarding the receipt.
Regarding the screen in the kitchen, I might go for a kitchen ticket solution.
I’ll keep you updated, thank you very much.

Hello everyone,
I have just taken over the management of an indoor soccer complex equipped with a UNIWELL DX 915 cash register.
I want to change my prices and products.
Do you know how to reprogram the pre-installed prices and/or products in the cash register?
Thank you in advance
PS: it's quite urgent without you ordering (the complex reopens tomorrow)...

well, this is off to a bad start, the main flaw of this register is that when it stays unplugged for too long, the system erases itself and needs to be recharged (so at the same time, all the programming also has to be redone).
The error message "setup required" or "update required" is typical; you need to find a Uniwell dealer and negotiate with them, otherwise try to find the manufacturer's PLM2000 software online (difficult but free) and study the online help to find the method to recharge the system. The problem will be finding the version of the system; it's impossible if you don't have a cash register dealer registered with Uniwell on the Japanese site (all of this in English).
Good luck
Best regards

Could my seller help me unlock my cash register?
Thank you for your help; it's quite urgent.
