Hello everyone, I had a 40GB PS3 and now it's dead. The only problem is that I didn't back up my data on a USB stick; all I have left is the hard drive.
Today, I have an 80GB PS3 Slim. How can I recover the saves from my old hard drive and install them on my new PlayStation?
Thanks everyone.
Configuration: Windows Vista / Internet Explorer 7.0

If you know a bit about the connections that your PS3 has, if the hard drives are connected via SATA, you can connect them to a computer and copy from one hard drive to another (that's what I did at a friend's place last year, he hasn’t had any problems since...)

Hi, my console won't turn on at all, YLOD :s I took my PS3's hard drive and connected it to the PC, but the PC doesn't recognize the hard drive, so what should I do, please???
Hey, you need to buy a
DIGITUS USB2.0 IDE & SATA CABLE USB HIGHSPEED TO SATA/IDE ADAPTER CABLE SET
You take apart your hard drive from your PS3 and connect it to this, then connect it to your computer or another PS3, and that way you transfer the data from your old PS3 to the new one or to your computer
And all the data you had online, you won't lose it because it's on the net.
