Hello, hello

I'm using Opera 10.10

After updating to version 10.5 (as suggested by the Opera browser itself), I'm left with an Opera interface without the bar that contains the buttons "file, edit, view, bookmarks, widgets, tools, help" ...

Unfortunately, I am unable to bring back this bar with this new version.... At best, I can bring up a window to modify the appearance a bit, but that doesn't help me with my problem.

Can you provide me with information?

Thank you in advance for your answers and suggestions.

Thank you for the response Jifa, but I right-clicked EVERYWHERE (especially at the top of the window as you mentioned) to try to get a contextual menu allowing me to reintegrate that bar --> no luck.... I only managed to bring up a window for the appearance.

Any other ideas?

You need to search online for how to modify the registry to enable the toolbar.
Sorry, I don't have the path to enable the toolbar in the registry, but you just need to search online.
Good luck!

Actually, you need to click at the bottom left on an icon with a tiny drawing that looks like a play button. Sorry for my late reply.

Modify the registry for that? Let's not mess around ...

Right-click on the address bar -- > customize --> appearance.

In the "toolbars" tab, check the box next to "tab bar".

From then on, on the web page at the top left, there will be an opera icon. Clicking on it will open a dropdown menu where you just need to choose "show the menu bar".

Feel free to go back to the "appearance" window to uncheck the tab bar.
