I can't update my G100 alert.

Hello,
Can someone help me? I don't know how to update my G100 radar detector; it's impossible!!!
Configuration: Windows Vista / Safari 532.5

    Good evening,

    here is what I found about "GPS alert": http://www.alertegps.com/index1.asp

    (To update your AlerteGPS alert device:
    - Download and install the corresponding ALerteGPS software for your alert device (G100, G200, G300...)
    available on the website www.alertegps.com
    - Connect your alert device via USB (use only the supplied cable)
    - Launch the AlerteGPS software
    - Tab "connection" > automatic connection
    - Tab "update" > automatic update

    If the automatic connection does not work on your computer:
    - Connect your alert device via USB
    - Go to "control panel" > "device manager"
    and find the COM PORT number used by the following hardware: PROLIFIC Serial to USB
    - In the connection tab, manual connection > select the same port and click on "connect"

    If the automatic update does not work on your computer:
    - Download the manual update file from the "downloads" page corresponding to your alert device
    - connection tab: click on "automatic connection"
    - update tab: click on "browse" and select the file you just downloaded (orion...))

      after that, open the software and follow the instructions 1Languages, 2Connections, 3Updates and you’re good to go.
