Hello,

So, I've noticed for a while now that on sharing platforms there’s a mention "VFSTFR". I’m wondering: does VFSTFR = VOSTFR + VF? Which would mean that the movie is in French and also subtitled? Strange...

It means French Version French Sub-titled in French.

The subtitles are undoubtedly subforced.

VSTFR means version with subtitles in French, but normally it's VOSTFR and VF stands for version française...

I mean to say that there are two different things: you have the original version subtitled in French, and the other one is the French version where the characters speak in French...
