How to transfer SFR email to Gmail?

Hello,
I will soon be changing my ISP (currently I'm with SFR), and I would like to transfer all my emails to my Gmail account, but it's not working
I went to Settings (on Gmail), Accounts and Import, Import mail and contacts.
I entered my SFR email address and the password, but Gmail tells me that it cannot authenticate.
It's starting to annoy me if I'm going to lose my emails!
If you have a solution, that would be nice
