Hello,

I'm reaching out for help because I'm completely stuck on an Excel calculation. I need to calculate the number of remaining places based on a starting value of either 1000, 400, or 200. The initial number of places depends on three different formulas: 1, 2, or 3.

The table isn't sorted by the formulas (and it shouldn't be), which is why I'm struggling to retrieve the previous remaining places based on the formula. :/

    With your formulas in column A you can find the number of 1s using:
    =COUNTIF(A:A,"=1")
