Hello,
with Thunderbird v.3, can you put an email address in the form of a link in a message (which I used to do without any problem with Outlook)? I'm having trouble with it now.
If anyone has the answer... thank you and have a good day!
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 3.6

Go to Insert, link and in the new window write
"the email address" in the text box
and in the link box add "mailto:adresse@mail.fr"

Thank you gg, I'm also called gg! This "mailto" is really useful!

    Hello
The message should be written in HTML, is that the case?

No. Not in HTML. What should I do, please?
But a priori. When I want to link to a web address, no problem, I use "insert link". And before I switched to Thunderbird recently, it was enough for me to type an email address and Outlook would automatically turn it into a link.

I have the same problem and I am in html and the link is not formatting.

Oops... actually, I just did some tests (without going through the html) and even though the email address doesn't appear as an underlined link and thus, even though nothing differentiates it from normal text, when the message is received, it does appear as a link... Anyway, it works... :-))

    Thank you for responding!!
