I use Nego Billing (http://nego.sup.fr)
Easy to use, quite comprehensive, and there is a support forum (accessible even in the free version).
You can create subtitles and have long descriptions on multiple lines.

The free version is not time-limited, but the number of items per invoice is limited to 5 (otherwise, the full version is €45).
