This driver was for the motherboard chipset, for the graphics card it's this one: https://www.nvidia.fr/object/win7_winvista_32bit_195.62_whql_fr.html

I had already installed it before installing the chipset driver.

nvidia does not manufacture graphics cards but chipsets.
    look here: https://www.materiel.net/#prods
the g210 is manufactured by asus, xfx, club, pny and others.

i wanted you to try the manufacturer's driver, for example msi, check the packaging.

      the brand is NVIDIA

To start, you should disable the graphics chipset in the BIOS.
If that still doesn't work, you will need to try an older driver.

I went into the BIOS (Phoenix) and went to "Advanced system configuration" and the value of the "integrated graphic" is set to "auto" by default. According to the explanation in the BIOS, it states that in this mode, the graphics card is automatically disabled when it detects another external one. Otherwise, there are two options in this mode, Enable and auto.

in that case, leave it on auto.
    try this driver: https://www.nvidia.com/object/win7_winvista_32bit_191.07_whql_en.html

before that, you need to uninstall the other one via "programs and features" in the control panel; normally, this should be done in safe mode.

I have the opportunity to work and even play much longer with this driver that you had me download than with the other one (the 195.62_desktop_win7_winvista_32bit_international_whql).

Have you checked the temperatures? Using Everest, for example.

And what are the temperatures needed?

    2. Tiny23 Posted messages 243 Status Member

The temperature of my hard drive
      is 40° C (104°F)

around 50/60° or a bit more depending on usage.

uninstall the driver and try this one: https://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_190.38_whql_en.html
is your power supply powerful enough?

    Hi Tiny23

The NVidia GeForce G210 and GT220 are designed for "DirectX10"
and Seven comes with "DirectX11" out of the box
your problem might not come from there ???
    http://www.pcinpact.com/affichage/53514-geforce-g210-gt220-nvidia-gainward/76377.htm
    http://www.pcper.com/article.php?aid=794&type=expert&pid=1

try to fix it: run this "DirectX" file
    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=2DA43D38-DB71-4C1B-BC6A-9B6652CD92A3&displaylang=en
it also takes into account the hardware you have

and the G210, for power consumption = 200 Watts in minimum configuration
( with an Intel Core i7, a motherboard, 3 memory sticks, and an SSD HDD )

    see you

    < MAXCONTINUOUS OUTPUT POWER IS 210W >

it's too tight, even very close to the limit
especially if you have a processor that consumes 135 Watts under full load

you would need a 400 Watts branded power supply with +80
or even 500 Watts to be really safe

Ah, so the power supply problem can crash my PC; if that's the case, I think I should change the power supply.

I'm not a specialist in computer hardware, but 210W seems weak for a PCI graphics card.

Could you borrow a power supply from a friend to do a test? A more powerful one and preferably from a reputable brand.

I also have 2 GB of RAM and when I installed it on the PC, nothing happened, meaning the computer turns on but the screen is black and the drum light does not turn on. In fact, this RAM is a DDR2 PC2 5600V or 6000V (I passed it to a friend since it didn't work on my PC, so I don't have it on hand and I am sure it's within that range. Sorry for the lack of precision) and I was wondering after your analyses if it is not the lack of power from my power supply that is the cause. Thank you

PS: The RAM currently installed on my computer is a DDR2 PC2 5300V.

Now if that's not the case or if I need to create another topic, then let me know.

Well, as I told you, computer hardware isn't really my thing, but it would be a good idea for you to try another power supply before spending any money.
As for the RAM, I think it was simply incompatible.

Ah OK for the RAM. Thanks
Anyway, I think my power supply is not powerful enough since I went to calculate the total consumption of the PC on an online site eXtreme PSU Calculator and I got the following results even if my GPU is not listed, I took one that seems equivalent.

      System Type: 1 physical CPU
      Motherboard: Regular - Desktop
CPU: Intel Pentium Dual-Core E2180 2000 MHz Allendale
      CPU Utilization (TDP): 85% TDP

      RAM: 1 Stick DDR2 SDRAM
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS 512MB
      Video Type: Single Card

      Regular SATA: 1 HDD

      DVD-RW/DVD+RW Drive: 1 Drive

      USB: 8 Devices

      Keyboard and mouse: Yes

      System Load: 90 %

      Recommended Wattage: 232 Watts

After trying a more powerful power supply, my problem was solved, so my computer was crashing because my GPU was underpowered. Once again, a big thank you to the three of you pepito10, pico.l, and vieu bison boiteu for your help and advice, you guys are awesome. Thank you very much.
