Hello friends, here's my problem... I downloaded Skype thinking it was free. That's not true, you need to buy credit and I realized this when I wanted to call my son in Mayotte (French overseas department). I don't want to pay because I feel it's misleading advertising (even if the Prime Minister says it’s free!). So, what to do? Because calls are expensive? We both have a PC and it seems that with MSN it's possible... True or false? Can I download it because I saw in the forum that it causes problems by imposing its presence and its intrusive ads... I recently cleaned my PC and since then it works perfectly. Thank you for your advice. Guydenime

With Skype and any other voice chat software, you can call from one PC to another for free, but certainly not from a PC to a landline!

Hello, Skype is free from PC to PC but not from PC to a landline. They had it for a day or two, I had tested it but it's been over for a while now.
