Hello,
I went into the hidden menu of my Samsung UE40B6000 LED TV out of curiosity and I think I changed the type in options! I have the type 40A6AF0C! Please reassure me it's the right type?
Thank you in advance for your replies! Best regards

I have already looked at it, but there is nothing. In fact, it would be necessary for someone who owns the same TV to open their hidden menu and compare the type displayed there.

Hello,
It will be a bit difficult for me to give you a "type" like this without knowing what this reference corresponds to.
You’d better look directly at Samsung here, there is a Support and FAQ section:
http://www.samsung.com/fr/consumer/tv-audio-video/tv/tv-led/UE40B6000VWXXC/index.idx?pagetype=prd_detail
Otherwise, the best thing is to reach out directly to the store where you purchased it.

Good evening, I'm Robianca. To answer your question, it's the same because there is no downside to it since it doesn't change any function.
