Hello,
My MP3 fell in the water, it turns on, but the buttons don't work properly and for example the volume goes all the way up or the music starts playing by itself!
As soon as it fell in the water, I instinctively turned it on, maybe I shouldn't have?
Can it work again? How??

put it in a warm, dry place (not in the oven though).
if possible, open it up so it can air out better, and you will see if it works again once dried.
remove the battery during drying (if it oxidizes, it could start leaking) -
hi
indeed, you shouldn't have turned it on
the only thing to do to try to get it working again
is to take it apart (just open the plastic shell
no need to unscrew everything inside)
you can also try to take off the screen if there is one
be careful not to force it, don't want to break anything
then let it dry in the sun or use a hairdryer

good luck

be careful though, a radiator is hot (especially if it's an electric radiator)

You shouldn't have turned it on when it was wet!!!
(big risk of short circuit!)
Let it dry out thoroughly and try again :)
There are no screws for a business question. -
I put it on the radiator...
But there are no screws, I can't open it! Or can I?? -
It's good, I opened it...
So, can I let it dry now?
For how long? -
Thank you! =) I hope it will work again... because otherwise I'm going to get killed by my parents =| ^^'

...
You say we need to remove the battery and take apart the screen.
How??
Right now the buttons aren't working, I'm stuck on a song.
I can't do anything!
Otherwise it works. -
take it apart as much as you can without breaking everything and let it dry for two or three days

save a tree, eat a beaver -
if nothing is removable, let it dry longer
-
I left it near the radiator all night and now it works perfectly =) Thank you very much!

you just have to set resolved in the status at the top of your first message

I marked it as resolved.
That said, if it ever stops working, the water leaves marks and the warranty may no longer be valid. -
What is the model and brand of your MP3?
As I mentioned earlier, they deliberately make it difficult to disassemble, all so that we either use the customer service or buy a new one.
If you don't have at least a basic knowledge of electronics and some tools, you won't be able to remove the battery with a snap of your fingers.
