Poor image quality with a PS1

Hello,

I have an old PS1 and a new LCD TV. The problem is that the image quality is poor.
Is there a solution to achieve the same quality as with an "old generation" TV?

    107 cm. A Philips.

    Games on a PS1 have a smaller resolution compared to your TV, so your games will appear pixelated; I don’t think you can change that on a 107CM.
