HP Photosmart Wireless B109 WiFi Installation

Question

Hello,
I have a problem installing my HP Photosmart Wireless B109 printer via Wi-Fi with my Livebox.
When I get to the "Wireless Network Test Report," here's what it prints:
-Without filtering => failure
-Connected => not executed
-Channel => not executed
-IP address => not applicable
-Configuration => not applicable
If anyone knows a simple and effective method from A to Z and could share it with me, I would be thrilled.

HP and other suppliers should be ashamed to sell products where the manual is more than brief and the explanations are virtually nonexistent when it comes to Wi-Fi (sorry for my rant).

You need to disable your firewall during the connection between your router and the printer. I also advise you to proceed via the USB cable for this setup.

BJR, Connect using the USB cable. Add a printer via Wi-Fi with USB. Connect to the Livebox (press the small button underneath the Livebox). Then finally, the connection will be established, and you will be asked for the WEP key. Good luck.

While searching for information online, I finally found a solution for my case that seems similar to yours. I hope this will work for you. It involves a HP Photosmart B109 wireless printer connected to a PC (Windows 7) with a Livebox.

To do this, you need to:

1- First, perform the complete installation using the USB cable.
2- Print the wireless network test report from the printer to obtain its MAC address.
3- Connect to the Livebox: type in Internet Explorer http://192.168.1.1
4- Add the printer's MAC address to the list (menu: “Wireless Network”)
5- Perform a wireless network test again (the printer should now be installed correctly -> no more error messages)
6- Go to the “Control Panel” menu, then “Sound and Audio Devices,” then “Add a Printer,” and finally click on “Add a wireless or Bluetooth printer.”
7- The printer should appear in the list.
8- Click on the printer and then Next
9- Choose the printer model: HP, then the product name, and add it by modifying the name (HP Wi-Fi connection printer)

Now your printer is installed via USB and Wi-Fi. You can choose what suits you for your printing.

I struggled myself to get my printer working via Wi-Fi.
I will tell you how I did it.
You just need to know your SSID number and your WEP key.
I'm on XP. From the laptop that is already connected to your box via Wi-Fi.
Perform a complete installation using the USB cable directly connected to your laptop. Go all the way through the installation and do a test of the printer.
Then, still connected with USB, go to the laptop menu: start: program: HP: Photosmart wireless hp 109n: and click on: USB to wifi.
Let yourself be guided and everything will be detected.
That way, it takes 5 minutes to switch from USB to Wi-Fi.

Hello, I have the same printer, I've lost the installation CD, do you know where I can get one?? I called the HP center, they don't provide the driver on the website because it's an old model, and I haven't found anything online.
