The color filter is gone in Excel...

Hello,

I can no longer filter by color in my Excel spreadsheet; the only option I have is "custom sort."
Do you know how I can get that option to reappear?

    Thank you Smartway14 for your response, but I do have colors in the column in question (3 different ones). Could it be that a setting has been reset by locking the data row to prevent it from being sorted?

    menu data/sort and filter/filter/sort by color/sort by cell color.
    in the sort by color option, there is a custom sort option.

    if your cells are not colored, the "custom sort" option appears.
