Music search: late 90s help me

Hi

I’m looking for a song that came out in the late 90s (or maybe early 2000s)
I have no idea about the band or the singer, nor the title.

I remember a bit of the music video: there’s a young blond guy with dreadlocks, he’s on an escalator I think, dressed in streetwear (baggy pants, etc.)

The style of music is hard to explain: the guy sings, but kind of in a rapping way, on, how can I say: a bit of electro. It’s in English.
It was widely heard, it was quite a hit.

Unfortunately, that’s all the information I have.. :(
My description is a bit lame.

    I think your description is definitely not lame since as soon as I read it, I knew what you were talking about. I just needed a little time to remember the title, which is Bomfunk Mc's-Freestyler.
