BIT TORRENT download blocked

Hello everyone,

could someone help me regarding the download software "bit torrent" ->> when I start a file to download, it shows a round orange icon at the bottom right and says "blocked," how do I unblock it?

    by opening the appropriate ports in the firewall and the modem/router

    they say "google is your friend"... but so is wiki! be correct, write in understandable French!

    the port number is the one you have in the bittorrent configuration.
    to open the ports on the modem/router you need to go to its configuration page!
    for example: livebox http://192.168.1.1
    --
