The red exclamation mark in Skype

can someone tell me what a red exclamation mark next to a message I sent to a contact on Skype means???... Thanks in advance! Cat

    Hello, I have the same problem as you. I think it's because the person hasn’t received our message, because before having that exclamation point, I had an arrow showing that they hadn't received the message yet.
