Error17 recupération ubuntu

Bonjour,
javais en duel boot wp ( une seule partition C) et ubuntu, je viens de créer une seconde partition D et j'ai réinstallé xp ce qui fais que j'ai perdu Ubuntu.
avec le live cd quand je fais: find /boot/grub/stage1
(hd0,3)
root (hd0,3)
setup (hd0)
quit
j'arrive à obtenut au démarage grub mais quand je choisis UBUNTU je recois
error 17 can not mount selected partion
