I just placed my order on this site. Everything went smoothly, very good communication via email.
Everything was fine until the French customs took my package, claiming it was counterfeit coming from China. They, of course, confiscated the goods. And I won’t have a fine this time, but now I'm flagged. Great. Not only did I lose the goods, but I also lost my money, and with China, needless to say we have no recourse!!!
So I sent an email to airmaxshop explaining the situation, but coincidentally, no more news.

Here’s my fresh experience from Friday, 21/09/09. Please share with as many people as possible to avoid being scammed.

For a company based outside of Europe, if it does not exist or if it exists but is not legitimate with you, you cannot do anything concrete about small amounts like for shoes, etc...
If the order goes through a wholesaler or a subsidiary in France, it is different because you have all the legal remedies under French law. If the company is based in Europe but outside of France, it is already less obvious and legal recourse will only be possible for large amounts, but in general these companies try to maintain a good reputation...

And what do you think about http://airmaxfrances.com?
They have a whole series of well-known logos at the bottom of the page... payment by PayPal and they even say they are authorized Nike sellers... they are obviously located in Hong Kong (but then again, the shoes we buy in stores are rarely made in the Cantal...)... it looks pretty good... but I’m a bit wary since I bought a pair of Jordans recently and had quite a few issues... 1 month for delivery, wrong color and (nice) counterfeit... well, I was fully refunded and kept the pair of shoes but still...
If anyone has already ordered from airmaxfrances.com, I’d be happy to hear their opinion if it’s not counterfeit and if there are no tricks, it’s tempting...

Well, I believe I’m part of the lot; I ordered a pair of Nikes from this site and if I may say so, I’ve been Nike’d. I received an email saying that the ordered pair was out of stock and to choose another one, but I haven’t gotten a response, not even on their Gmail, and it’s been a week now with no update. I’ve lost a lot of hope and I think I won’t buy anything online from any site anymore, and yet it was where I made most of my purchases.

Hello everyone, I also ordered a pair of Jordans for my man on www.airmaxfrances.com and indeed the site is in French, but to contact them you can only email (pretty suspicious in my opinion). They respond to you once in a while and in English. As soon as I received my Chronopost tracking number, I called my brother who works at Chronopost, I gave him the beginning of my number which is EE..... He told me to forget it, it's fake, it comes from China. He said you either get lucky and receive them or customs catches it, and if it's not the first time you receive a letter and a fine, you'll pay ten times the actual price. So for a pair of Jordans, you have to count 160 to 180 euros, which means a fine of 1600 euros. That's it, I hope I could help you. My brother will do everything he can to recover my package before customs, otherwise, well, just like you all, I’ll lose it. But on the site, if there is no customer service phone number, forget it, it doesn’t smell good!!!!!

As I already wrote, I waited a month before receiving my Nikes, but I certainly didn't pay a second time. I thought my order and my money were lost, so I ordered another pair of shoes from usine33 that I received before the ones from the Chinese site. So be patient, and you will receive them.

Good evening, I ordered from the website www.air-max-shop.com and I received my pair of Nikes almost 10 days later.

For my part, I ordered from the same derivative site (air-max-shop.com), the presentation was the same in French, I paid by card, but I realized it was Chinese when I got the EMS tracking number. I was super scared, totally stressed thinking I was going to lose €55. I sent messages and they reassured me. But for me, I did receive the package with my sneakers and I think they are authentic: because it came in a Nike box, with a pair of socks, in a mini storage bag, and identical to all the photos I’ve seen online of these shoes.

Super happy anyway. However, I don't know if luck was on my side regarding customs, but if they are indeed fake, I got away with it.

This may reassure some who have gotten the same information as me, but I've heard of people who, even after having a cleared non-taxable package, still received a tax, or were even brought back to customs and destroyed.

But I don't think I'll buy from China again; I’ve had my adrenaline fix :p
