Hello,
I just bought a DUNE 80034 universal remote control. I have the manual, and the brand of my TV is DAEWOO. This brand is listed in the code section of the manual, but none of the provided codes work... I also tried the automatic search, but that didn't work either. The batteries I put in are new. I have tried other techniques mentioned in forums for this brand of remote, but from a different model, and still nothing... I'm completely stuck and have no more ideas on how to make this remote work.
I even went back to the store, but they told me that since the box was opened, they couldn’t take it back!!! How was I supposed to know it wouldn’t work before trying it!!! Anyway, if you have the same remote and any tips, thanks in advance for your help!!!

Hello,
I can't help you get it working, but one thing's for sure: the store where you bought it is REQUIRED to take it back, it's the law, even if the packaging is open.
You go back to the store, and you make a scene...

I have the same problem with the DUNE 80034 universal remote
My TV is a Transcontinent!
The thing is, my son got a Wii for Christmas, and without a remote (I haven't had the original one for years), I can't access the AV channel that allows me to turn on the Wii, even manually and by any other means.
This is the third remote I've bought, and each time they refuse to take it back because it's opened.
I'm losing my mind
seriously.
I've even cried out of frustration !!!!
This time I won't keep quiet, 40 euros spent on 3 remotes, hours of stress for nothing,
if you are also in the same situation, I invite you to contact me via my email,
I am determined to reach out to DUNE, and they either help us or refund us.
Thank you

Hello,
to lindouze66: to access the AV channel of a television without a remote control, you can try two things:
- set the television to channel zero (using the channel selection buttons on the TV)
- if you have access to the settings (still using the buttons on the TV), set one of the channels of your TV to "auto AV." This way, when you turn on the Wii on this channel, theoretically, it should switch automatically.
Good luck ;)
PS: for 40 euros, I'm sure you could find another television with a remote at a pawn shop or elsewhere...
