Hello,
It seems that a significant and extremely simple vulnerability has been found in PARENTAL FILTER: after logging into Windows, parental filter opens a dialog box: "you are......". If you do not respond to this box, you can browse the internet without limits: parental control has not activated.
Can anyone confirm this vulnerability?

I use Parental Filter, and it is not possible to use the PC unless you are connected to Parental Filter 2, the entire screen is grayed out while waiting for the child or parent password...
So there is no flaw!
I tried following your message, but it is not possible to reproduce what you are talking about, have you tried it too or have you just heard about it? -
Parental filter 2 is a sieve:
I don't want to give all the details, but whether it's configured for all users or only for some, the method to disable it is different. The idea remains to prevent all or part of the program from launching during the next reboot, and then once the computer is restarted, to put everything back in place and surf freely. PF2 then normally relaunches on the next boot.
To disable it, if it's installed for all users, it takes 10 clicks, including 2 right-clicks (about 30 seconds), once logged in as a "minor" user.
If it's installed only for certain users, I personally used a software intended for another use and not prohibited by PF2 to disable it. Once this (freeware) easily downloadable software is installed, it takes 30 seconds.
Personally, I am looking for another solution and regret the money lost. -
Moreover, the PF2 usage calendar does not work:
Installation on a nearly "virgin" PC (only Windows XP and ZoneAlarm). Result:
* 1st connection after installing the software, the session closure works
* Other connections: PF2 crashes and the PC is freely accessible
And no solution from the publisher as if I were the only one (which seems surprising to me).
A good reason to migrate to Vista to have the integrated control... -
En fait, je me suis trompé, c'est quand il dit "fin de session pour Jacob" qu'il faut double-cliquer sur leur.
