Hello,

I have a friend currently in England, and I would like to know if it’s possible for him to send me texts without adding a country code! Is it normal that I can send him free texts without adding the country code??? We have the same carrier. It’s as if he is still in France!! Please share your thoughts!!

I’m afraid he might have lied to me! Thank you all!

Here is my problem.

I am going to England in a week. But I would like to send messages to my boyfriend who is staying in France.

He has unlimited texts all day. I only have unlimited texts from 5 PM to midnight.
When I send him a message, will he have to pay? And when I am between 5 PM and midnight, will I have to pay? And how much will a message cost outside of these hours?

You don't pay anything by sending her a text message on a French mobile, because you are not supposed to know that she is in England, so you don't pay anything, and neither does she (it's not her fault if she receives texts ^^)
However, she does pay to write to you. Do you know how much it costs? And which operator are you with?

Si vous êtes en France et que vous souhaitez envoyer un message à votre fiancé en Angleterre, cela peut dépendre de votre forfait et de votre opérateur. En général, pour les envois de SMS internationaux, des frais peuvent s'appliquer, même si vous êtes sur un forfait prépayé. Il est recommandé de vérifier directement auprès de Bouygues Telecom ou sur leur site internet pour connaître les tarifs exacts pour l'envoi de messages vers l'étranger.
