After downloading a movie on Échanblard and wanting to watch it, the screen turns green and I have to turn off the computer before I can watch it properly. How do I remove this green screen, please?

It's likely that your screen has taken a hit from old age.
As they age, cathode ray screens can have problems with their electron guns. There are three in each screen: one red, one green, and one blue, to be able to display colored images. The red one must be on its last legs.

    My condolences....

My screen works fine, but it turns green at the beginning only when I try to watch a downloaded movie.

there is a chance that it is a codec issue, try with the SLD codec pack: http://www.skynet4ever.tk/

Yeah, me too, it turns completely green. I also watched a downloaded movie, it turned green, but it’s permanently green!!! And sometimes I don’t know, it goes back to color!! I think it’s a virus, just a little virus for that!!!!

I saw this post and I have the same problem, my screen is green as can be, I played Counter Strike and then I turned off the screen, I turned it back on and everything was green. I have a flat screen that's less than a year old.
    Is it a screen problem?
