How to put music on DSI

Hello,
I recently got a DSi, and when I put music on my SD card in AAC format, I use (free mp3 wma) software.
When I go to sound studio and select edit music, it searches and then tells me (the SD card does not contain any compatible AAC files). I spent my afternoon on this, and I'm fed up.
If anyone has a solution, I would appreciate it, thank you for your help.
Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

    Otherwise, you just need to click on "browse for file," select the format, and convert.

      I tried M4A and AAC and it's impossible! I put them on the SD card, then I go to the music section and it tells me "no music in AAC format is on this card..."
      And at first when I put it in M4A they told me "this SD card cannot be read."

    Hi, I had the same problem. I had converted all my songs to AAC and put them on my SD card and then on my DSi, but it didn't work. So, I converted them to M4A and put them on the SD card and then on the DSi, and it read them. Kisses and good luck to those who have problems with their DSi.

      Salut boystile, tu mets tes musiques dans le premier dossier et pour les écouter sur la DSi, tu vas sur le carré où il y a le petit oiseau et quand tu l'as ouvert, tu vas sur modifier les musiques.

    iTunes: right-click on the song you want; create AAC version; then: go: iTunes; iTunes Music: ACDC: Highway to Hell Right-click: .m4a ... so ...

    First, copy the audio files to your compatible SD or SDHC card

    Note that some copyright-protected tracks cannot be listened to if copied illegally.

    Necessary equipment:

    * A 2 GB SD card or a 32 GB SDHC card.
    * Your "music" files stored on your Mac or PC.
    * An integrated SD or SDHC card reader in your computer or an external one. The external card reader connects to one of the USB ports on your computer.

    In practice

    * insert the card into the reader
    * then open Windows Explorer (on PC) or Finder (on Mac) and select the drive to open it.
    * open another Windows or Finder window in parallel to find the music stored on your computer.
    * highlight the files of interest, right-click "copy" and "paste" them into the first window on the SD card.

    Choose compatible audio files: only AAC formats with the extensions .m4a, .mp4, or .3gp are compatible.
    How to convert music files to compatible AAC or .m4a audio files?

    Converting a file can be done using several paid or free software.
    Example with Switch Audio Converter 1.05.
    Once installed

    * At the bottom left next to "Output format" note ".m4a"
    * At the bottom right click on "convert", as soon as you have copied and pasted the tracks to convert into the large rectangle.

    Oops, I forgot something. So for the copy-paste address, you need to go to My Computer, removable disk (F:) (for me that's it, but it depends on the computers), and then you paste it there. That's it!!!

    Hi, I also got the DSi recently (today) and on the right side of your DS it says SD CARD
    you just have to open it, buy the card, put it in there, and then you can put your music on it.

      You download it, then you open it. After that, you look at the top left and search for mp4. Then you look to the right and search for aac lc.

    Not everyone wants to drag iTunes onto their PC (on a Mac, I wouldn’t say...)

    Hi, after hours of searching, I finally found it:
    You download Switch Sound File Converter, then you convert your file to .m4a format
    (bottom left) it should normally convert it to .AAC format.

    Actually, you need to convert it to mp3 format. If you don't know how to do that, you need to download Real Player, and you can convert it directly there. If you have iTunes, it will go directly after you click on the clip you want, then click on Advanced and create an AAC version. Then, when that's done, create a folder on your memory card and put it in there.
    I'm telling you this for the music on the DSi.

    Hello there, my name is Sébastien Dubé. You can call me Seb or Sébastien if you prefer. Let's start with your problem. Try to use .MP3 files from iTunes. If you take .MP3 files from Windows Media Player, it won't work. If you read the instructions in the Nintendo DSi console manual carefully, they'll tell you which formats the DSi can support and how many music files it can handle. I believe the DSi console is capable of reading .MP3 files from iTunes. I've encountered this problem before. I had to copy the files using Win Rar. Once the files are in the "app" folder of the SD card, try to play the music files.

    Hello everyone, I'll explain clearly:
    To store music, you need an SD card (or a mini-SD card with an adapter), which is very common in stores: https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carte_SD.

    Next, since the DSi does not recognize all audio formats, you need the right format. That's why you need to download Switch Sound Format Converter (Free! : https://www.futura-sciences.com/tech/) to convert your files to .m4a (Don't ask why, it's the only format compatible with the DSi).

    So, you put the SD card in your computer's port, download the software, then convert the music to .m4a format, and finally copy them to your SD card.
