    for your information, 1GB = 1024MB. So...

    technically, 2048MB = 2GB
    commercially 2048MB = 2.048GB; so, in 2GB, you don't reach 2048MB but rather 2000.

      2048 MB is not equal to 2 GB, but to 2.048 GB (see this trick that is a myth: 1 Kilobyte = 1024 bytes)
      Indeed, 2 GiB (Gibibytes) = 2048 MiB (Mebibytes)
