Good evening, I have the Skystar 2 USB card with the latest version of ProgDVB in English, but when I start it, it says "device not started". What's wrong?

IN THIS CASE YOU SHOULD TRY ANOTHER PROGRAM OTHER THAN THE DVB PROGRAM

Hi
I found the solution
First, download the new driver for your card here (SKYSTAR2) https://www.technisat.com/de_DE/Privatkunden/352-352/?nav=Software_Treiber,de,39&download=download&produktID=1390&downloadID=1534

Unzip everything
Then look in the folder 1535.dvb.4.4.1
Then in BDA
Then unzip the file TechniSat_BDA_4.4.1.zip again
Now go to the control panel
Then system then hardware
Then device manager
Remove your sky star 2 which is a network card
Click on the icon representing a computer with a magnifying glass
It will find new hardware
It will ask you if it should search for drivers itself, select no and give it the path where the TechniSat_BDA_4.4.1 folder is located
For me, it's C:\1535.dvb.4.4.1\BDA\TechniSat_BDA_4.4.1
There it finds your card
But big change it's no longer a network card but under audio, video and game controllers

Start progdvb
Then in settings and device list select the card (BDA) technisat BDA digital tuner
It's the BDA.DEVICE
There you go, it works for me

I have the same problem; when I open Prog DVB, a window appears saying: device not started!!!!

What should I do?

You need to fix this issue in the options by selecting your card from a list that is usually found in the settings tab and in the device list or something like that. There you go.

Salut, j'ai la vision plus et à chaque fois que je lance le programme DVB, il y a un message qui dit "device not started" même quand je sélectionne la carte dans la liste des devices, c'est toujours le même problème.

I have a Pinnacle card that worked very well in parallel with the DVB program (WDS XP Pack 1), but since my update to WDS XP Pack 2, it's been the beginning of the problems. Despite installing all the necessary drivers, I can't use the DVB program or Power DVD in parallel with Pinnacle, error 0x0000135. The only software that works is Pinnacle. Should I go back to Pack 1

as I noticed, the problem comes from Windows Pack 3
before; using Pack 1 everything works wonderfully, that is to say Pinnacle with the DVB program 7.11 as well as Power DVD;
unfortunately with this cursed Pack 3 we can only run one software at a time (that is to say, install only one, either Pinnacle or Power DVD)
I have already tried it on another PC equipped with Windows Pack 1 and it works well
I sincerely hope that this question should be addressed to those responsible at Microsoft so that they check the contents of Pack 3 (there must be a Trojan file)
in the hope of receiving a good solution from the competent people at Microsoft

Hi,
Personally, I've noticed that it's because the sat card is USB type. So, every time ProgDVB is restarted, we see the message "Device not started."
Solution: Restart Server4PC and then restart ProgDVB.

Hello, I had the same problem: I have Windows Seven, neither ProgDVB 6 nor Media Center detects the signal, so I had the idea to install ProgDVB 5.16.2 and miracle, it works excellently.

Hello guys, please, I have a Pinnacle PCTV Sat 400i satellite card. I installed the drivers and progdvb detects it but it cannot find the signal. I've checked everything regarding the hardware and everything is connected correctly. I don't know what's going on. Please help me and thank you in advance.

Salut mes amis, je suis vraiment très déçu de ce qui m'arrive à cause de ma carte satellite. On m'a dit que Skystars2 était la meilleure marque de cartes satellites, mais vraiment je suis dégoûté à cause d'elle. Elle ne veut plus marcher ni avec le programme DVB ni avec DVB Dream. Pour rappel, avec le programme DVB, il me met toujours "device not started". Je ne sais pas quel est le problème, j'ai désinstallé plusieurs fois la carte, mais c'est la même chose. Avec DVB Dream, il me met toujours "video codec".

Aidez-moi mes amis, s'il vous plaît, c'est un grand problème. Donnez-moi, s'il vous plaît, les meilleures solutions.
