Desktop icons and projector

Hello,

I successfully projected my slideshow from a laptop; then, I changed the desktop settings to try to have the comments and the slides on two different screens, and now, even after returning to the old settings, it doesn't work anymore. Strangely, during the projection, I see my computer's wallpaper BUT WITHOUT the icons, so no slideshow. Does anyone have any idea?
Thanks
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 3.0.7

    Hi.
You must always be in "extended mode" for display, I think.

Thank you for your response, but what action should I take to return to normalcy at the office?

That must be where you went to change the display settings. "Display properties" by right-clicking on the desktop, then "properties", then the "settings" tab.
    If I'm not mistaken.

Do you have an Nvidia graphics card on your PC?

So you must have an "Nvidia Control Panel."
On my PC, it is accessible by right-clicking on the desktop.
Or through the display properties, "Advanced" button, Nvidia tab.
Everything should be in there. "Set up multiple displays," I believe.

No, I can't find it... Thank you anyway; I'll check with my colleagues tomorrow.
