Hello,
I currently have a Viseo 223 WS PC monitor (which doesn't support 50 Hz). I connected my PS3 to this monitor with an HDMI cable and an HDMI/DVI adapter, and everything running at 60 Hz (PS3 games, Blu-Ray movies) works perfectly. However, anything at 50 Hz (PS1 games, PS2, DVD video) does not work at all. The PC monitor says unsupported frequency. I would like to know if there is a way to convert 50 Hz to 60 Hz between the monitor and the PS3 (the PS3 does not allow setting it to 60 Hz).
I also posted this message on the Hardware forum in case I have better luck there.
I look forward to your response and send my best regards.

Hi,
I also use my PS3 on my PC monitor which is not 50hz, but since it's a Japanese one, I don't have this problem.
The only solution is to use a 50hz/60hz video converter; they also convert the image format.
You have the brand Atalona that you can find on eBay, a bit pricey but it's very good quality.
See you!
