Method 1:
Here is a method to find the codes
how to find the code for a universal remote
Try the following universal process when you don’t have the codes.. it works with all brands of remotes, TVs, and VCRs.
Turn on your TV
TV mode on the remote
press 1 and 3 simultaneously for 3 seconds
press ON (remote)
as soon as the TV turns off, press immediately ON (on the
remote) to stop the search.
If there are no more blinks, then OK
Press ON again, 2 blinks => OK
If blinks occur while the TV is off, then
turn your TV back on and press Prog - (at the bottom) (Remote)
As soon as the TV turns off again, then the code is OK, press ON. No more blinks
Press ON again, 2 blinks. => OK

Method 2:
For an old 72 cm HITASHI CRT TV.
3-step method [1], [2], and [3]:
[1] Turn on the TV.
[2] Press once on CODE (a light turns on when pressed and turns off when released).
[3] Press the power button (a code is then transmitted to the TV. - If it’s the correct code, the TV turns off quickly, instantly. End. Everything is set.
- If the TV does not turn off, then it’s not the correct code, redo step [3] until the TV turns off.)
