Facebook, a friend removed me from their list Solved

Question

Hello,

I noticed that my Facebook friend count has decreased by one today (I had 160 this morning and 159 this evening) and I would like to know who has removed me from their friends list? Is there an easy way to find their name on Facebook?

Too bad, I thought at least that Facebook also notified about removed friends and not just added friends. Maybe there was a bug and the person doesn't even know that they "removed me from their friends list."

I don't think so. When you delete someone, the person is not notified! In any case, you have quite a few friends! lol

Facebook doesn't want to notify deletions, it's a choice! It's cool when you realize that someone is in your friends but you don't care, when you delete them they don't think that you don't like them anymore!
There you go, it's a choice that Facebook made and so it will stay that way!

Well, if you don't even know who they are, it's not that important, is it? I automatically remove people with whom I have no exchanges other than "you add me / I add you," even if they are people I actually like ;)  As for the bug, no, don't count too much on that. At best, you can imagine that it's someone who has deleted their profile; that's possible too ^^

I think that if you don't realize that someone is missing, it means you didn't know them very well or you didn't talk to them.

If it was someone dear to you, you would know who is missing from your contact list haha.

When you remove someone, you automatically get removed from their contact list, but of course, it doesn't send a notification. However, they can check if you're still in their friends list, and if you're not, they will see that you've deleted them.

Hello,  I thought about creating an app (similar to "who deleted me") that, when you log in, retrieves your friends list and saves it. Then when you log in again later, it retrieves the list again and compares it with the previously saved one. However, I haven't had much time to get started and I'm not a programming expert. I've decided to code in PHP. I have a start to the code that doesn't work yet.  I just discovered an app that lists all of its friends with their IDs on a single page (Friends-list). This is what I want to do with my application.  Has anyone tried to do the same thing? If so, do you have any advice or a code snippet to share?  Thank you for your responses.

Yes, hello, I also had a little issue with my Facebook profile. In fact, a few months ago, I had a fight with my ex and I deleted him from my account... Despite this, I could still see his updates on my home page... and what's even more strange is that I deleted several other people, but in the end, I was never able to see their updates from their wall on my home page :S and then I re-added him to delete him again!!
In the end, I could still see his updates even though he was no longer in my friends! I even tried to hide him from my home page twice! and he is still there! Of course, at one point I deactivated my account for a while, and then he was back on my home page! He is not part of my friends but I can see his updates from his account, I don't know if it's because his account is public, which means that everyone can view his profile and his wall (even those who are not his friends)..... HELP ME PLEASE!

According to Facebook, this is normally impossible because even when you refuse to add someone, you won't receive notifications, so it's impossible, sorry for you.

Me, on MSN and Facebook, Mégane Damiens blocked and deleted me, before insulting me. I can still see her picture; I do delete it to no longer see this horror! Unfortunately, her photo and contact are still there. It says: this friend has been deleted, but nothing works! I don't want to see that awful face anymore; good grief! I want her gone! And on top of that, she’s indicating viruses on my wall, she wants to send them to me!
And Nathalia Biolecaret deleted me!
But she still talks to me!
