Hello,
I'm stuck in Fable 2, help me!!!
So, I have a child named Tom who went missing in the cave with the Hobs. My new quest is to save him (well, it's called "The Rescue"). I joined him in the cave and found him in the cage that I opened. Then we escaped, he followed me, and we arrived at the ladder to go back to the surface in Rookbridge, I think.
The problem is that once we climbed the ladder, Tom stands still next to me and doesn't follow me! I've tried everything, the chicken, gifts, and I've asked him to follow me, but nothing works, he just stays there like that...
I can't even abandon him, otherwise, I'll have to restart the rescue from the beginning.
Can someone help me????

    He shouldn't follow you. You'll meet the mother (or father) a little further on if I remember correctly.

    AH ok yet the yellow line appears behind me when I leave without the kid, as if I shouldn't leave him, well I'll try your solution anyway, thanks!!!!

    Hello,

    I have the same problem as you, Ladydraughtsman, with my daughter. After leaving the cave via the ladder, the yellow circle appears but nothing happens. The girl stays in a corner, my wife is there and you shouldn't look for her elsewhere as people have said on several forums. That idiot is there and you can't even kill her. The worst part is that if you change quests, she follows you and bothers you to look for the kid, and you still can't kill her.

    Anyway, can anyone tell me what to do? Even if I have to leave my wife and daughter behind.

    P.S.: My wife no longer wears her ring above her head yet she has always been happy, it's about Lady Grey and we also live at Fairfax Castle.

    I have a bad feeling about this but maybe a clever person has figured it out if there is a solution.

      The solution is to have only one woman because it's never the right mother who shows up in Rookridge. As for me, I killed one of my wives to be able to succeed.

    You have a bug, when I go out my wife says thank God, then they come back and she says see you later and they disappear, and I finished the mission, I think you have a big bug.

    almost the same except it's my husband I can't find
    they keep telling me "find your husband" the bright path leads me to Bowerstone but when I arrive there is no more bright path and I find my husband but he doesn't have a ring above his head anymore and I know it's him since he's the blacksmith ^^
    I tried to remarry him but he still doesn't have a ring and now I am married twice to the same person...
    and I have completed all the hobbe caves to find my daughter and nothing...

    Hello, I have a problem regarding this quest. I can't find my wife in Bowerstone, so I can't continue with the quest. Can someone please help me? Do we always find our wife (husband) in the same place, or is it random? Please reply, thank you in advance.

      Salut, moi j'ai 10 femmes et un mari. Soit je trouve ma femme chère, où je lui ai fait aménager, soit avec mon enfant, ou en train de se disputer avec mes autres femmes. Sinon, tu fais quête, famille, tu choisis ta femme et normalement t'as le trait lumineux qui va jusqu'à elle. Désolé si je t'aide pas trop, mais j'ai jamais eu ce problème. Bisous !

    Fourthly, go for it

    I recently completed this quest, and normally when you take your wife or husband out, your child comes to apologize for running away. So I think there's a bug in your game... :s

    I finished the game Fable II... I also did this quest where your wife is waiting for you outside; you go out and the quest is over (your wife shouldn't be in the cave).
