Hi everyone, I have a problem with my computer, the hard drive has been off since yesterday and I want to recover the data on it because it’s important—how can I do this, please help me.

  1. Hello,

If the drive has become inaccessible since yesterday, avoid formatting it, running CHKDSK, or writing new data to it, especially if the files are important.

You can first check whether the drive is detected in Disk Management. If it is detected but inaccessible, data recovery software may allow you to scan the drive and recover the files to another medium. Microsoft also recommends avoiding any unnecessary use of the drive to maximize the chances of recovery.

If the drive is no longer detected at all, makes unusual noises, or disconnects constantly, it is better to avoid handling it and consider professional recovery.

If you like, I can suggest some data recovery software as well as in-lab recovery services. Would you like me to recommend a few?

    Good luck to you!

    1. Hello,

You’ll save a lot of time by using data recovery software. You can start with the free version, then upgrade to the paid version if needed. This tool will certainly be very useful to you and will allow you to recover your data in the blink of an eye.

      1. Hello

you haven’t given me the name of the software anymore. Thanks in advance.

        Hello
Before anything else, on a drive other than the one where the deleted files are located, create a new folder to put the files to be recovered.
to try to recover deleted files
download and run "Puran File" "

if it doesn’t find all your files, download TEST Disk 7.3 "

        extract the archive

        Hello,

We don’t see the connection with the brand of the PC, its model or the captain’s age.

If it is the operating system that is at fault, we can try repairing or reinstalling it from a bootable USB installation key without data loss; under certain conditions, at least part of these data can be recovered by accessing the disk with an external tool outside Windows in graphical mode or via the command line (Linux USB key or FreeDOS).

If it is not the disk but a component of the PC that is responsible for the phenomenon, by connecting this disk to an external USB adapter or enclosure.

But if the disk itself is damaged, we can try to repair it with tools on a live USB (Live USB Malekal, Hiren’s Boot CD..., all of which must of course be done on another computer).

If everything fails, there is no way to recover the data except sometimes via specialized companies at a price that is very deterrent.

      Hello

      provide the exact reference:

      example: ASUS R753UW-T4154T

otherwise check the disk with "Crystal Disk Info"

it's a software that lets the user know the health of their hard drive.
The status must be blue, otherwise it's not a good sign.
provide the result (color and state) or post a screenshot

      1. Yes, I’d like that. I can’t access the data anymore. I only see the partition letter in the file explorer after a while it appears, it doesn’t last and it disconnects by itself. I don’t know why.
