Connected Windows mobile

Hello,

I often struggle to establish a connection between my phone (Android/Samsung A26) and Windows 11.

On the phone I have the 'Link to Windows' app active (connected to Wi-Fi) and on the PC I have 'Phone Link' installed by default in Windows.

This thing is insane; I’ve tried every trick. On the mobile I can clearly see the PC is connected, I can send files, but on the PC, in the 'Phone Link' app, it’s impossible to connect to the phone.

It defies all laws of physics and I’m stuck.

If anyone knows an effective way to resolve this problem that many users seem to encounter, I’m all ears. And if there’s another program that fills the same functions (call management, SMS, file explorer on the phone), I’m also interested...

Thanks

  1. Hello,

I had managed to establish the connection, but I removed it, with difficulty, because when a call came in on the phone, and the PC was active, the PC picked up, and I had no ringing on the phone.

I missed a lot of calls with this thing.

    Have a nice day.

Try it anyway if you want.

    1. This thing is astonishing. I reinstalled the app on the mobile, I reset the program on Windows. It works again instantly.

I restart the PC, on the PC, in connected mobile I don’t see the phone but in the app on the phone I see the PC..

And then it doesn’t work and you have to reset the program at every restart.

Amazing this thing and it’s Microsoft on top of that. I spent the day trying different methods...

Just astonishing... I have Windows 11 and an Android 16 mobile but it’s not good...

      1. I tried something else, because the damn uselessness of this Windows thing is driving me crazy.

I tested Samsung Flow... same thing, it's a complete mess.

Half the time the sound comes out on the phone...

        it's wild..

        1. Okay, I’m trying again today, second day trying to get this connected Windows Mobile working...

"We can’t connect to your devices"

I’m just trying to connect my phone to my Windows PC. It works on one of the two PCs, and on the other nothing at all... while Bluetooth is active on both...

Both PCs are running Windows 11.

Freaking hell, it’s driving me crazy, I have a real rage against this system, honestly...

Two days in a row like this for nothing, for fuck’s sake.

What a crappy piece of software their Windows is, it’s always Windaope since I’ve known it, that’s for sure.
